Care

How To Clean The Mud Off The Mat:

1| Allow mud to dry completely before cleaning to avoid spreading the stain.
2| Shake the mat outside or use a vacuum with an upholstery attachment to remove loose dirt.
3| Mix mild wool detergent with lukewarm water. Dampen a clean cloth and gently blot the muddy areas.
4| Use a damp cloth with cold water to blot away any soap residue.

How To Dry Wet or Damp Mat:

1| Gently blot the wet mat with a clean, dry towel to soak up as much moisture as possible. Avoid wringing or twisting the mat, as this can damage the fibres.
2| Shake the mat gently to loosen any dampness, and reshape it to its original size and shape to prevent it from becoming misshapen as it dries.
3| Lay the mat flat on a clean, dry surface, preferably on a towel or drying rack, to allow air to circulate around it.
4| Make sure it’s in a well-ventilated area but out of direct sunlight or direct heat sources (like radiators) to avoid shrinkage or permanent wool damage.
5| To speed up the drying process, flip the mat over occasionally, to ensure both sides dry evenly.
6| Once the mat is dry, gently fluff it with your hands or a soft bristle brush to restore its softness and texture.
